Afterschool Soccer Program

At Mater Academy in Cutler Bay, we’re excited to offer a premier after-school soccer development program dedicated to nurturing young athletes. Our program is designed for both beginners and experienced players, focusing on the essential skills of dribbling, passing, and ball mastery. Whether your child is just starting their soccer journey or looking to refine their existing skills, our expert coaches are here to guide them every step of the way.

Program Highlights:

• Skill Focus:

  • Our curriculum emphasizes dribbling and passing, with a strong focus on mastering ball control using different parts of the feet. This approach ensures that players gain individual confidence on the ball.

• Expert Instruction:

  • Led by experienced coaches, our program provides personalized attention to help each player improve their technical skills. Igniting passion for soccer in a fun, free of pressure environment where students learn through ball mastery, technical developing fun games, and small sided play.

• For All Levels:

  • Designed for Mater Bay Academy students at various skill levels, our program caters to both newcomers and those already involved in school or club soccer.

• Days:

  • Monday and Wednesday

• Time:

  • Pre K- 1st: 2:45 PM - 3:45PM (pickup is from 3:35pm-3:45pm); 2nd-5th: 3:45PM-4:45PM (pickup is from 4:35pm-4:45pm)

• Location:

  • Mater Academy in Cutler Bay at Sting Zone

• Pick Up Information:

  • Please be on time, there will be a pick up car line so plan accordingly. Any student picked up late will be signed into aftercare and charged accordingly by the school.

  • Aftercare students will be dropped off with aftercare.

  • All K-1st Grade will need to be picked up from building A.

  • All 2nd-5th Grade will need to be picked up from building A.

  • Pickup time for K-1ST will be between 3:35pm-3:45pm

  • Pickup time for 2ND-5TH will be between 4:35pm-4:45pm

Enrollment Information:

This program is exclusively available to currently enrolled Mater Academy students. Registration will open up on a first come first serve basis Friday November 1st at 4PM, registration is purchased at Mater Bay online school store.

We will be hosting 3 seasons at Mater Academy in Cutler Bay. Our Fall and Winter seasons will be developmental seasons that will consist of 14 sessions all held after school at Mater Bay. The Fall season is from September 9th- October 23rd. The Winter season will be from November 13th- February 3rd (holiday break on December 17th and Resume January 13th). Both of these seasons are on a first come first serve basis and open to any currently enrolled Mater Bay student. Our Spring season hosted from February to May is a competitive season where we will be hosting tryouts and selected players will make up a team roster to compete in a local league with weekend games.
